P.O.V - Portraits Of Vulnerability
P.O.V. offers an intimate glimpse into the personal perspectives and inner worlds of individual subjects through photography. With over seven billion people on this planet, each person sees themselves—and the world—differently. I’m fascinated by the relationship between what we see and how others interpret it. This inspired me to explore the interaction between subject and artwork.
To begin, I asked each subject the same set of questions:
What does vulnerability mean to you?
What makes you feel vulnerable?
How would you express your vulnerability in a photograph?
Through these thoughtful conversations, we collaboratively arrived at a unique visual representation for each person. Every image in P.O.V. reflects this individuality—through distinct compositions, editing styles, subjects, and visual manipulations.
Ultimately, P.O.V. is meant to spark conversation around vulnerability—how it's felt, expressed, and interpreted—both by the subjects and by those who view their portraits.
